Classroom Policies:
Course Goals: Students will be able to demonstrate a general knowledge of law and how laws are made. We will cover the legal system, criminal law, juvenile justice, civil law, consumer and housing, as well as family laws.
General Rules:
1. Be in your seat before the bell rings.
2. Bring your own supplies.
3. Students will complete their own work.
4. Students are expected to do homework as assigned.
5. When a video is shown during class, students will take notes.
6. Students learn by doing. I expect you to be present everyday trying and putting forth the effort to learn.
Tests: Students are given a radio codes test weekly. Every four weeks, an open book test is given.
Lectures: I lecture daily, and students are to take notes.
Grading Policy: Grades will be on a curve basis. Student's grades will be based on tests, quizzes, homework assignments and other assignments.
Citizenship: Citizenship will not affect grades. However you are expected to behave in a mature manner.
